Brandon Monin

Brandon (MS, CSCS) brings 15+ years of experience & scientific knowledge to Prolific Fitness.

From a very early age, he learned the values of persistence and dedication when it came to training. Brandon was constantly reading to educate himself about better training methods to help him with his fitness goals.

At age 13, Brandon’s parents bought him a membership to the local gym. It was there where he became truly passionate about weight training and fitness. He used the advice and knowledge from the owner of the gym to learn how to properly weight train and diet.

“I was always very interested in fitness and nutrition. When I began going to the local gym as a teenager, that really sparked my passion for it.” -Brandon

After high school, Brandon went on to Gannon University where he majored in Exercise Science with a concentration in Physical Therapy. He graduated from GU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh.

While in college, Brandon was given a wrestling scholarship and went on to be a four-year starter, two time national qualifier, a three-time East Region place winner.

Upon graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Brandon was given an incredible opportunity to work for Finish First Sports Performance. It was there where he was initially exposed to training a wide range of people from professional athletes to elderly individuals rehabilitating.
